About Me

I am a Ph.D Candidate at Drexel University, working under the supervision of Dr. Jaudelice de Oliveira in the Applied Networking Research Lab.

I earned my M.Sc in Telecommunications Engineering in July 2012 at Staffordshire University, United Kingdom. Prior to my graduate studies, I earned my Bachelor's Degree (Hons) in Electrical Engineering at Ahmadu Bello University, in December, 2008.

In 2007, I interned with the ICT Directorate of A.B.U as a Network Support Analyst and during this time, I obtained my Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification. After completing my Master's degree, I worked with Halliburton Energy Systems as a Measurement/Logging While Drilling (M/LWD) Field Professional from 2013 to 2017, during which time I completed the LWD Training Tracks I & II at the Halliburton Training Center in Houston.

Research Interests

Software-Defined Networks; Data Traffic Engineering; Machine Learning; Anomaly Detection; Sleep in Networks.
